fullview is a must, hit download.

character design for e621.net, 's been a while i wasn't inspiured to make like, something you know.

the cat character concept he's drawing belongs to `chizi by the way.

first i thought Arès would be a cool name, but finally nah, it sounds weird in english. even worse in kyrghize, which doesn't means anything.

I love the 256-colour like effect. Is that intentional, or is this really just 256 colours to save space? :P

well spotted, actually it does indeed gives a crisp texture i think, to contrast with the pic in general; that's why i like it and use it.

the only inconvinient thing being on the resizing you can only divide by two. thus said i'm not sure if thousands of colors instead of millions save up space when in PNG. gotta check this.
thanks for the comment!

Thousands of colours won’t really give much of a compression increase because it’s still unpalletted the same as millions of colours.

You could try using pngnq, it’s a tool that can downsample PNG images to 256-colours and the results are stunning: [link]

This would be smaller, and if you using a recruncher like optipng / pngout or the excellent imageOptim (on Mac) [link] you’ll get significantly improved compression.
